Display Properties

The Display Properties dialog box lets you tell IVI's LinDVD how to display DVD output.

Quality Settings

Low - When this selection is enabled, all features displayed in Custom Quality settings are turned off.

High - When this selection is enabled, all features displayed in Custom Quality settings are turned on.

Custom - Unlocks the Custom Quality section of Display Properties. Select only the specific features that you want to use. See Custom Quality Settings for details.

Custom Quality Settings

Smooth horizontal scaling - Displays a smoother video picture when the display window is horizontally resized on graphics adapters that do not provide for hardware scaling (enabling this feature may use some extra CPU bandwidth).

Smooth vertical scaling - Displays a smoother video picture when the display window is vertically resized on graphics adapters that do not provide for hardware scaling (enabling this feature may use some extra CPU bandwidth).

Software Bob (de-interlacing) - Controls video "jitter" for interlaced video content (30fps), enhancing the smoothness and sharpness of the picture quality.

Miscellaneous

Hardware Motion Compensation - Enable this feature to ensure that LinDVD will uses the hardware motion compensation which provide by your VGA card.

Lock Aspect Ratio - Enable this feature to ensure that when you resize the video window, the correct ratio is displayed. This means that the screen can only be resized in the same dimensions as the disc format. If you unlock the aspect ratio, you can still resize the window, but the picture may appear distorted.

Startup in full screen mode - If this feature is enabled, the LinDVD window will automatically open in full-screen mode whenever LinDVD is started.
