Floating
Tool Bar

The Floating Tool Bar is displayed on the operational system desktop when v-Class Teacher is running. This tool bar allows that you have access to the main functions of v-Class Teacher.
The Floating Tool Bar is only displayed if the Enable Floating Tool Bar option is checked in the General panel of the v-Class Teacher Settings window. |

Menus
|

|
Actions The
Actions
menu displays the main
functions of v-Class
Teacher and
they correspond to the functions that can be executed by pressing
the buttons in the Main
window.
These
functions are: |

Apply
Policy:
when this option is selected, it displays the Apply
Policy
window where you can apply policies elaborated with PolicyControl
product in the students computers. Chat
Groups: when this option is selected, it displays the Chat
Groups window where you can create discussion groups with
students connected in the active Class Model. Class
Model: when this option is selected, it displays the Class
Model Management window where you can create, edit, remove and
activate your Class Models. File
Transfer: when this option is selected, it displays the File
Transfer window where you can send files to the connected
students and receive files from the students. Remote
Commands: when this option is selected, it displays the Remote
Commands window where you can open and close applications in
the students computers, execute pre-defined commands and other
functions. Silence:
when this option is selected, it displays the Silence Computer
window where you can execute the silence function to block the
mouse, keyboard and video in the students computers Tests
and Quizzes: when this option is selected, it displays the
Tests and Quizzes window where you can create tests, apply
them to the connected students, receive their answers and correct
them. You can also apply an instant question to the students. Manage
Displays: when this option is selected, it displays the Manage
Displays window where you can send a presentation to the
students and they will be able to view what you are doing in your
computer. You can also monitor a student's computer or monitor all
class. Logout:
when this option is selected, it displays a message for you to
confirm if you really want to exit v-Class
Teacher. You
must disconnect all students in your active Class Model to be able
to log out. Exit:
when this option is selected, it exits the v-Class Teacher
but the application will still be running on the operational
system tasks bar. When you open it again, the Login window
will not be displayed and the application will redirect you to the
Main window. You don't need to disconnect the students
before using this function. |

Edit The
Edit
menu displays the following functions: |

Exports
Students
List:
when this option is selected, it exports the list of the students
included in the active Class Model to a XML file. This file can be
used later to be imported to
v-Class Teacher creating
a new Class Model. |

Settings The
Settings
menu displays the following functions: |

Profile:
when this option is selected, it displays the Profile
window so you can change information about your login account,
such as your name and password. |
|
|
Help The
Help
menu displays the following functions: |
||
|
|
Contents:
when this option is selected, it displays
the Help window where you can navigate through the v-Class
Teacher help
topics. |
|
|
|
About:
when this option is selected, it displays the About
window where you can view information about v-Class
Teacher, such as
its version number. |

Actions

|
Move the Floating Tool Bar You
can position the floating tool bar by moving it to any part of
your screen. To move the tool bar, click in its title bar and drag
it to the position you want. |
||
|
Hide the Floating Tool Bar You
can hide the floating tool bar by pressing the right arrow:
The tool bar will be resized to its minimum size as illustrated by the following picture:

Show the Floating Tool Bar When you hide the floating tool bar the right arrow is modified to a left arrow and you can press it to restore the tool bar to its original size:

|
Close the Floating Tool Bar To close the floating tool bar you can press the X button in its title bar.

|
Display the closed Floating Tool Bar If you close the floating tool bar using the X button in its title bar you can show it again by pressing the ALT + J keys in your keyboard. |
