Applying Instant Quiz

The Instant Quiz window allows you to create instant questions and send them to the selected students. It also allows choosing the type of the question, if it will have a correct answer or not, besides indicating the answer options to the student.

The time to answer the questions can be informed, for the students to answer the question in this time interval.

The answers of the students to the instant question can be viewed in this window. You can view the student's login, the response time of the question and if the answer is correct or not. The remaining time to finish the application of the instant quiz is also displayed.

Fields and Commands

Question

This group of fields is responsible for the elaboration of the instant quiz.

Quiz Type

Select the type of the instant quiz. The “One-answer choice question” represents a multiple-choice question where only one of the options is correct. The “Vote” type represents a multiple-choice question, but you don't indicate a correct answer to this type of question.

Question

Type the title of the instant quiz.

Answer

This group of fields is responsible for the information of the answer options of the instant quiz.

Option

This field indicates the options of the question, represented by a letter from “A” to “Z”.

Correct Option

Check this field if the corresponding answer is the correct one. To the “One-answer choice question”, you only can check one option as the correct one. To the “Vote” type, this field will be disabled, because it's not necessary to indicate a correct answer.

Option

Describes the answer for each option.

Results

This field allows the selection of the students for which the instant quiz will be applied and allows you to view the answer given by each student.

Student

This field displays the connected student login.

This field is read-only and it cannot be modified.

Time

This field allows you to view the response time of each student to answer the instant quiz.

This field is read-only and it cannot be modified.

Answer

This field allows you to view the answer of an instant quiz, informed by the student. If a student didn't answer the question, the “--” symbol will be displayed in this field.

This field is read-only and it cannot be modified.

Grade

This field allows you to view if the student answer is correct or not. A correct answer is represented by the image and an incorrect answer is represented by the image.

Time Limit

This field allows that you indicate the maximum time interval for the students to answer the instant quiz.

Remaining Time

This field allows you to view the remaining time for the end of the instant quiz application.

Finish Instant Quiz

This button allows you to stop the application of the instant quiz. This button will only be enabled after an instant quiz was initiated through the Start Instant Quiz button.

After this button is pressed, a message will be displayed for you to confirm if you really want to stop the application of the instant quiz.

Press the Yes button to stop the application of the instant quiz. Press the No button to continue the application of the instant quiz.

Start Instant Quiz

After creating the question, this button allows that you apply the instant quiz to the selected students.

To start an instant quiz it's necessary that you inform values to the Question and Answer fields and that at least one student is selected in the connected students list.

Clear Instant Quiz

This button allows you to clear the elaborated question, if you want to create a new question. When you press this button, a message will be displayed for you to confirm if you really want to clear all values typed for the instant quiz.

Press the Yes button to clear the values informed in the Question and Answer fields to the current question. Press the No button to cancel the cleaning of the values informed.

Help

This button displays the Help window where you can navigate through the v-Class Teacher help topics.

Close

This button closes the Instant Quiz window and returns to the v-Class Teacher Main window.
