Executing Presentation and Monitor Functions

The Manage Displays window allows the use of features through screen capture, with the following options: you can display a presentation of the functions that you are executing in your computer, through the capture of your screen and transmission of it to the students computers. This window also allows the student to have his screen captured and sent to your computer and to the other students computers in class. In this case, you can also have the control of the mouse and keyboard of the student's computer, for you to show in the student's screen some function that you want. As a third feature of the Manage Displays window, you can monitor the connected students computers by capturing their screens in a regular time interval and you can view what they are doing in their computers.

You can configure some parameters that can affect the functions of the Manage Displays window such as: screen resolution, video colors, quality of the presentation being transmitted and other parameters. To configure these parameters, use the Settings window that can be accessed by pressing the Settings button in the Main window.

Fields and Commands

Teacher Presentation Panel

The Teacher Presentation panel is responsible to display the fields and buttons that allow the capture and transmission of your screen to the students computers. This function is interesting, because it allows you to show to the students functions that you are doing in your computer. You can, for example, explain how to use a specific application, or open a document to show its contents and other functionalities. The students will see in their computers all that you are doing in your computer while the presentation is being displayed.

You can choose to send your presentation with block or without block. When it is sent with block, the screen will occupy all student's video and the mouse and keyboard of the student's computer will be blocked. This way, the student will not be able to use his computer until you stop the presentation. When the presentation is sent without block, it will be displayed in a normal window, allowing the student to use his mouse and keyboard, and also resize, maximize or minimize the window that you are presenting.

To send the presentation with block, you must select one or more students and then press the Start with Block button. To use this feature without block, press the Start without Block button, after selecting the students to send the presentation of your screen.
