Recording a Class

The Screen Record window is responsible to record classes, with video and audio. All you do in your computer will be recorded and, if you have a microphone, you can also record the audio. This way you can record a class or a presentation to be later displayed to the students, through the Net Movie function.



Fields and Commands

Start Screen Record

To start recording the class, press the Start Screen Record button.

After you start recording, the title of this button will be changed to Stop Screen Record. A message will be displayed informing you that v-Class Teacher will be minimized while the recording is being done.

If a microphone is not detected in your computer, an alert message will be displayed for you to confirm if you want to record the movie without the audio.

If you press the Yes button in this message, the movie recording will be done, without the audio. If you press the No button, the screen recording will be canceled.

After this message are displayed, all you do in your computer will be recorded.

When you want to stop the recording, you can press the Stop Screen Record button.

Another window will be displayed, showing the progress of encoding the movie file.

After finishing encoding the movie, a window will be displayed for you to choose a location where you want the movie file to be saved in your computer.


After you selected the location, press the Save button. The file will be saved and the application will return to the Main window. A message will be displayed to inform that the demonstration of the movie to the students must be done by using the Net Movie function.

Press the Close button in this information window and use the Net Movie button in the v-Class Teacher Main window to show to the students the class or presentation recorded.

Help

This button displays the Help window where you can navigate through the v-Class Teacher help topics.

Close

This button closes the Screen Record window and returns to the Main window.
