Starting Test Application

The Test Application window allows applying created tests to the students. You can choose which test you want to apply and if it will be applied to one or more students.

A test being applied can be suspended. This window also allows you to select suspended tests to be applied to the students.

Fields and Commands

Start a New Test

When you check this option, the Select a Test to Apply group will be enable for you to select a new test to be applied to the students.

Resume a Suspended Test

When you check this option, the Select a Test to Resume group will be enabled, for you to select a previously suspended test to be applied to the students.

Select a Test to Apply

This group of fields contains the tests that can be applied to the students.

Discipline

Select a discipline if you want that only the tests of that discipline be displayed in the list. Otherwise, leave the “All” option selected and all tests will be listed, independently of the discipline.

Grade

Select a grade if you want that only the tests of that grade be displayed in the list. Otherwise, leave the “All” option selected and all tests will be listed, independently of the grade.

Author

If there is any text typed in this field, only the tests created by an author, which name initiates with the typed text, will be displayed in the list. If you want to display all tests, independently of author, leave this field empty.

Tests List

This field displays the tests available in the tests base, according to the filters informed in the fields explained above. Select a test to be applied to the students. Only after the selection of a test and the selection of at least one student, the Start Test button will be enabled.

Discipline

This field displays the discipline of the corresponding test.

This field is read-only and it cannot be modified.

Grade

This field displays the grade of the corresponding test.

This field is read-only and it cannot be modified.

Author

This field displays the author of the corresponding test.

This field is read-only and it cannot be modified.

Title

This field displays the title of the corresponding test.

This field is read-only and it cannot be modified.

Total Score

This field displays the total score of the corresponding test.

This field is read-only and it cannot be modified.

Select a Test to Resume

This group of fields contains the tests, previously suspended, that can be applied to the students.

Tests List

This field displays the tests that were previously suspended. Select a test to be applied to the students. Only after the selection of a test and the selection of at least one student, the Start Test button will be enabled.

Discipline

This field displays the discipline of the corresponding test.

This field is read-only and it cannot be modified.

Grade

This field displays the grade of the corresponding test.

This field is read-only and it cannot be modified.

Author

This field displays the author of the corresponding test.

This field is read-only and it cannot be modified.

Title

This field displays the title of the corresponding test.

This field is read-only and it cannot be modified.

Total Score

This field displays the total score of the corresponding test.

This field is read-only and it cannot be modified.

Connected Students

This field lists the students that are connected to the teacher. Only after the selection of at least one student and a test, the Start Test button will be enabled allowing the test to be applied to the selected students.

Student Login

This field displays the connected student login. One or more students can be selected in this list to the application of the selected test.

Time Limit

This field allows you to define a time limit for the students to answer the test's questions.

Before the test is started, the time limit must be entered. The time limit will be enabled to a new test and to a previously suspended test. This field is required. If the time limit expires, the test window that is displayed to the students will be automatically closed, and the students answers will be sent to your computer.

You can inform a time limit, establishing hours, minutes and seconds for the test.

Preview

This button allows you to view the page containing the test that will be applied. The Test Preview window will be displayed, showing how the test will be viewed by the students when it is applied.

Start Test

This button allows you to apply the selected test. This button will only be enabled after the selection of a test, new or suspended, and the selection of at least one student. To start the test, press this button.

If a time limit is not informed, an alert message will be displayed indicating that this field is required.

After the test starts, the Test Application Status window will be displayed, so you can monitor the test being applied.

Help

This button displays the Help window where you can navigate through the v-Class Teacher help topics.

Close

This button closes the Test Application window and returns to the v-Class Teacher Main window.
