Correcting a Test

The Test Correction window allows you to view the students answers to the test questions and correct the open questions. The multiple-choice questions are automatically corrected by v-Class Teacher, but you can also include a commentary to these questions during the test correction.

Fields and Commands

Test Selection

Student Login

This field displays the login of the student which the test can be viewed to be corrected.

Status

This field displays the status of the student, relative to the test, indicating one of the situations described bellow.

Visible

This state indicates that the test correction was finished and sent to the student. So the student can view his test result.

Invisible

This state indicates that the test correction was finished but it was not sent to the student. So the student cannot view his test result.

Header

This group displays the information about the selected test, such as: title, discipline, degree, total score, teacher that is the test's author and the student that answered the test.

Student Answer

In this field, the student answer to the question is displayed, but it is read-only. If it is a one-answer choice question, the field will display all the answer options and the option chosen by the student will be checked.

In the multiple-choice questions, a correct answer will be represented by the image and an incorrect answer will be represented by the image .

Commentary

This field allows you to correct the question and make a comment on it. The comment will be sent to the students, with the test results.

Question Score

You can view each question's score in this field and, after correction, include the grade obtained by the student. To the multiple-choice questions, this grade will be automatically displayed; to the open questions you must include the grade manually.

Previous

Press this button to view the previous question, relative to the current one. This button is disabled if the current question is the first one of the test.

Next

Press this button to view the next question, relative to the current one. This button is disabled if the current question is the last one of the test.

Save

This button saves the corrections made, and remains in this window.

OK

This button saves the corrections made and returns to the Results and Grades window. In this case, a message will be displayed for you to indicate if you already want to make the test results available for the students. You can accept this suggestion by pressing the Yes button or press the No button and make the results later available, through the Results and Grades window.

Cancel

This button cancels the corrections made to the test and returns to the Results and Grades window.

Help

This button displays the Help window where you can navigate through the v-Class Teacher help topics.

Close

This button closes this window and returns to the v-Class Teacher Main window.
